Rules
- There are usually two or more rounds to this Gift Exchange.
- Everyone who brings a gift will participate and we will number each gift.
- We will put numbers on paper equal to the amount of the gifts numbered.
- Everyone will pick a number out of the hat and that will be your number when you are called.
- The first person opens the gift he or she has chosen when their number is called.
- When the next number is called that person can steal that gift or choose a new one.
- You can only steal a gift when your number is called or a gift is taken from you.
- When the following numbers are called they too can steal any open gift at that point or open a new gift.

You can re-steal a gift!
- The Object of this Pollyanna is to choose a high number for the advantage.
- You need to wait one round or until a gift is stolen from you to re-steal a gift.
- When the last person is called and if they steal a gift the last round stays open until the last gift is stolen and everyone is content with their gift.
- Or, if the last person is called and they are content with there gift.
- This will end the Gift Exchange and the Pollyanna is over.
How We Are Doing The Pollyanna
- Everyone has to choose from a hat or basket where the numbers are not visible to the chooser as many people know with chance games.
- We are only having one round as this Pollyanna can become quite lengthy.
